was born and currently resides in Rome. She teaches piano at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome.
She studied with Franco Medori at Rome Conservatory where she graduated with honors. Later she studied with Vincenzo Vitale and Bruno Canino.
At the Ecole Internationale de Piano in Lausanne she attended the Piano Masterclass Course held by Fausto Zadra . After receiving her diploma she worked beside the maestro as his assistant.
She attended music analysis classes with Aldo Clementi and chamber music classes with Pavel Vernikov.
She received a degree in DAMS (Humanities) from Rome University of Tor Vergata presenting a thesis on the history of music interpretation.
She has won top awards in many national and international competitions.
For RAI, the public Italian media station, she has recorded pieces composed by contemporary Italian composers: G. Turchi, S. Cafaro, G. Chiti. She has also recorded for EDI-PAN and Radio Vaticana.
She has played as a soloist and with chamber ensembles for a variety of top musical institution in different European countries, in particular in Italy : Musicus Concentus Firenze, Ass. B. Barattelli L’Aquila, Sala Verdi Conservatorio di Torino, Conservatorio S. Cecilia Roma, Conservatorio L.Perosi Campobasso, Ass. Amici della musica Palermo, Ass. Orpheo Spoleto, Accademia Musicale Napoletana, Accademia Musicale Pescarese, Pontificio Istituto Musica Sacra Roma, RAI Roma, Istituzione Universitaria dei Concerti Roma, Università Tor Vergata Roma, Fondazione Arena di Verona, Società dei Concerti Ravello.
She has played in duet with Luca Sanzò (viola), Enrico Perigozzo (flute), Georg Mönch and Luigi De Filippi (violin), Aldo D’Amico (cello) and, for lieder repertoire, with Elisabeth Norberg-Schulz (soprano).
She has a keen interest in the interpretation of 19th and 20th century French music and she is planning to perform the whole piano production by C. Debussy by Radio Vaticana.
She was awarded the prestigious Grolla D'Oro in Treviso in 2002.
In 2009 she published the biography of Fausto Zadra, talented pianist and teacher. Namely "No me interesa ser solo pianista" Fausto Zadra: l’interprete il didatta, l’uomo (Ipotesi di studio- Florestano Edizioni- Bari).The biography was presented at Conservatorio Santa Cecilia and it also received some appreciative recognition at other Italian conservatories.
Sponsored by the Campobasso conservatory L. Perosi where she was teaching piano and with the support of the University of Molise In 2009 she conceived and directed "TRIBUTE TO DEBUSSY at 150 years since his birth", a project based on Debussy's compositions to be performed by young players of all instruments, soloist, in chamber ensemble and orchestra. One objective of the Tribute to Debussy was also to disclose the relation between music and painting as an important source of musical inspiration for the composer.
